Pollution is laying a death trap on our homes and roads. At Arya Chanakya Vidyadham your child is able to breathe fresh and pollution free air for the 80 percent of his waking hours. This can prove the most precious gift given by parents to a child. That also means giving your children a boon of life for almost 80 percent of the time they will spend in their school education.
A sprawling campus of 30 acres surrounded by lush green hills and a bounty of beauty and nature is a great playing field. We have separate playing fields for kho-kho, kabaddi, volleyball, football and athletics. We also take pride in owning a traditional wrestling pit (kusti hauda). Besides that we have table tennis tables and a games room for carom, chess and scrabble. We have good facilities for music, origami, paper craft and drawing.
Students in our hostel experience a great delight. Their day begins before sunrise. They exercise with ‘Surya Namaskar’, offer morning prayers, have milk, study for an hour, prepare for the school, have breakfast, attend school, take their lunch, more school, have a fruit-break, spend time in creative pursuits, a rigorous games time follows, listen to daily news, recite Geetapath, engage in self-study, sing a prayer for their mother, Pasayadan and go to bed early. We actually live the saying, ‘Early to bed, early to rise, makes Chandragupta, healthy, wealthy and wise.’
The students also learn to take care of trees as they plant and nurture a tree during their stay in the school. |
